We’re excited to announce a big change to our automotive repair business! The automotive division of AFS Truck & Auto Repair Center is becoming Renata Automotive, a new brand dedicated to serving everyday drivers in Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, and surrounding Central Texas communities.
If you’ve trusted AFS with your car, SUV, or pickup truck, we want you to know that this isn’t the end of our automotive business. It’s the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
As our company has grown, we’ve recognized that our automotive customers and commercial fleet customers have different needs. Creating Renata Automotive allows us to give our retail automotive services their own identity while continuing to provide the customer service, transparency, and quality repairs that helped build our reputation.
Our story began in 2021 when we opened Austin Fleet Services, a small commercial truck repair operation with one mechanic and one service bay. From those humble beginnings, we grew into a business serving commercial fleets throughout the Austin and San Antonio markets.
In 2025, we expanded our Pflugerville location to include automotive repair services for personal vehicles. What began as a business focused on commercial trucks now had a growing number of customers bringing us their cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks.
As our automotive services grew, it became clear that we needed a brand specifically designed for those customers.
That’s where Renata Automotive comes in.
Our commercial truck and fleet repair operations will continue under AFS Truck Repair Center, while Renata Automotive will focus exclusively on retail automotive repair and maintenance.
The name Renata means reborn, and we couldn’t think of a better way to describe this new chapter.
Renata Automotive represents a fresh beginning, but not a departure from the values that helped us grow.
We wanted a name that felt friendly, approachable, and professional. Something that reflected the experience we want our customers to have when they visit our shop.
Because we know that taking your car to a mechanic isn’t always something you look forward to.
We want Renata Automotive to feel different. A place where you’re comfortable asking questions, where repairs are explained in everyday language, and where you don’t feel pressured into approving services you don’t understand.
It’s a new identity built around a simple idea: automotive repair should be an experience you can trust.
With any business rebrand, we know customers will have questions.
The biggest change is our name and the creation of a dedicated automotive brand. Renata Automotive will focus on personal vehicles, while AFS Truck Repair Center will continue serving commercial truck and fleet customers.
What isn’t changing is our commitment to customer service.
Our philosophy remains:
“We are a customer service company that happens to fix vehicles.”
That’s more than a slogan. It’s how we approach every customer interaction, every inspection, and every repair recommendation.
We understand that the automotive repair industry doesn’t always have the best reputation. Customers sometimes worry about being sold repairs they don’t need, receiving confusing estimates, or paying for services they don’t fully understand.
At Renata Automotive, we’re committed to doing things differently.
We use digital vehicle inspections with photos to help customers understand what our technicians find. We believe in explaining what’s wrong, why a repair is recommended, and which maintenance items may be planned for later.
Our goal isn’t to sell you the most expensive repair.
It’s to help you make informed decisions about your vehicle.
As a woman-owned automotive business, we’re especially passionate about creating an environment where women and all drivers feel comfortable, respected, and confident asking questions.
We want you to leave our shop feeling informed—not intimidated.
Renata Automotive will continue offering comprehensive automotive repair and maintenance services for cars, SUVs, and personal pickup trucks.
Our services include:
Oil changes and preventive maintenance
Engine diagnostics and repair
Transmission service and repair
A/C and heating repair
Battery and alternator replacement
Suspension and steering repair
Radiator and cooling system repair
Tune-ups and filter replacement
Tire replacement, mounting, and balancing
Vehicle inspections
We also continue to offer a 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty on qualifying retail automotive repairs, along with convenient financing and payment options.
Whether you’re visiting us for routine maintenance or a more complicated repair, our goal is to provide dependable service and a positive customer experience.
Although our name is changing, our commitment to our local community remains as strong as ever.
Renata Automotive is based in Pflugerville, Texas, conveniently located near the boundaries of Round Rock and Hutto.
We know that when someone searches for auto repair in Pflugerville, a mechanic near Round Rock, or automotive repair near Hutto, they’re looking for more than just a nearby shop.
They’re looking for someone they can trust with their vehicle.
That’s the reputation we’re working to build with Renata Automotive.
While Renata Automotive is a new name, we’re proud of the reputation our automotive business has already earned.
In 2026, our automotive operation was voted Best Auto Services through the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce’s annual citizen survey.
That award was particularly meaningful because it reflected the votes of local Pflugerville residents.
We were also recognized by BusinessRate as the #3 Auto Repair Shop in Pflugerville for 2026, based on Google Review data.
Both recognitions were earned under our former name, AFS Truck & Auto Repair Center, and they represent the foundation we’re carrying forward into Renata Automotive.
We’re grateful to every customer who trusted us with their vehicle, left a review, recommended us to a friend, or supported our growing automotive business.
Renata Automotive is led by Cynthia Trevino, the entrepreneur behind AFS Truck Repair Center.
With a background in business operations, technology, and process improvement, Cynthia entered the vehicle repair industry with a vision to create a business that put people first.
That meant building a team of skilled technicians, investing in technology, developing transparent processes, and making customer service a priority.
Those same principles guide Renata Automotive today.
We want to be the auto repair shop that Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Hutto drivers feel comfortable recommending to their friends, family, and neighbors.
Not simply because we fix vehicles, but because of how we treat people.
We’re incredibly excited about what the future holds for Renata Automotive.
This rebrand gives us the opportunity to build a fresh identity while honoring the customers, employees, and experiences that helped us get here.
To our existing AFS automotive customers, thank you for being part of our journey. Your trust and support helped make this next chapter possible.
And to anyone discovering Renata Automotive for the first time, welcome! We’d love the opportunity to show you what friendly, transparent, customer-focused automotive repair looks like.
Whether you need an oil change, brake repair, engine diagnostics, or routine vehicle maintenance, we’re here to help keep you safely on the road.
A fresh name. A new beginning. The same commitment to earning your trust.
